We’ll have holiday shopping and crafting stations, hot drinks and sweet treats from Recess Coffee and The Sweet Praxis, and a fun holiday photobooth from Amelia Beamish Photography. Plus, if you bring a donation (funds or non-perishable food items) for Food Bank of Central New York, we’ll give you 15% off your entire Smock purchase! We can’t wait to be a part of the 2013 Buy Local Bash! This year’s event is being presented by AmeriCu Credit Union and supports SyracuseFirst, an amazing organization that helps promote local businesses in the Syracuse area. Come out for a night of fun — the Buy Local Bash will feature live music, local artists, indie retailers, and lots of delicious local food & beverages! The event will take place on Monday, November 25 from 6-9:30pm at The Most and tickets are still available. We’ll be selling exclusive coasters to benefit SyracuseFirst, too, so be sure to stop by and see us at the event!

We’ll have some of our Syracuse First coasters available for sale (100% of the profits benefit Syracuse First) along with holiday cards and gifts. We’re excited to announce our very first Sidewalk Sale! We’ll be holding the sale outside of our studio in the Delavan Center parking lot, and this is an event you don’t want to miss! We’ll even have local food trucks here so you can grab lunch or a snack while you shop. We can’t wait to see you there!

Today we’re excited to share photos from a couple who recently tied the knot! Elissa and Chris worked with Cambridge Street Papers for their classic Vettore wedding invitation suite, and were kind enough to share a few of the beautiful photos from their May wedding. We love the way the postage stamps tie in with the wedding bouquet — such a thoughtful touch!

It’s hard to believe that the 2013 National Stationery Show has already come and gone! We had a great time at the show catching up with our Smock dealers and introducing new products, and we were beyond excited to be honored by the Greeting Card Association with our second Louie award for our “Like Campfires” letterpress love card! Smock also sponsored Oh So Beautiful Paper’s 2013 Paper Party, so it was a busy week for the team in New York! Here’s a peek at our booth display and some of the new products we introduced at the show. We’ll be posting a follow-up later this month complete with a DIY tutorial on how to make our festive cone garland!
